Distance

Distance

Relationships are based on Distance. Not Love. Not Trust. Not Sex. Not Loyalty. The Distance between two people determines the equation of their relationship. Again, I emphasize the word equation and not the success or failure of the relationship. If two people can walk the distance of thoughts through conversations or discussions or even heated arguments then they can truly be in each other’s vicinity and not be offended by individual thoughts. Physical Distance is a humorous trigger in a relationship.

Two lovers can be far of in two different continents or in a parallel universe yet something in their soul and heart always stays connected. Whereas individuals maybe a pillow distance apart yet letting off a simple grudge becomes a herculean task.

Relationships are never about how much you love or how much you trust them, they are always about what is the distance you can travel for or with them.

It’s not a manual for perfection, but a lab report on becoming: how we stumble, adapt, and build new blueprints for growth.
